Dr. DeSantis has been practicing family and cosmetic dentistry in the
South Hills of Pittsburgh since 1984. He obtained his Bachelor of
Science from the University of Pittsburgh in 1980. Dr. DeSantis then
attended the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine and
earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) in 1984.
Dr. DeSantis is committed to lifelong learning and continuing
education. He is an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry
and the Pittsburgh Academy of Dentistry. Dr. DeSantis earned a
prestigious Fellowship Award in the Academy of General Dentistry
(FAGD). He served three terms as both Program Chair and President of
the Pittsburgh Academy of Dentistry. Most notably, Dr. DeSantis has
been selected by his peers as a “Top Dentist” for Pittsburgh Magazine.
A native of Baltimore, Dr. DeSantis has lived in Upper St.
Clair since 1970. He is an active member of St. Thomas More Parish. He
and his wife Shelley are the proud parents of Dan, Emily and Lauren.
They enjoy spending time with their children and grandchildren. Other
activities include travel, tennis, cycling, and of course, the
Steelers!
